Server (sx_server.ml):
- HTTP mode: JIT hook now opt-in via SX_SERVING_JIT, matching epoch mode
(was unconditional — live serving-JIT miscompiles J1/J2/J3 de-risked)
- command channel: malformed/non-ASCII line returns an error response
instead of killing the shared process (C1/C1b)
- response cache: soft error pages no longer cached (S4);
http_render_page returns (html, is_error)
Kernel spec + regen:
- crit-2: signal-return frame stored the saved kont under :f but the reader
looked up "saved-kont" — handler value became the whole program's result
and the covering test passed vacuously. Fixed; raise-continuable now also
resumes at the raise site (rest-k, not unwound-k), mirroring signal-condition
- quasiquote: R7RS longhand unquote-splicing aliased to splice-unquote
(used to serialize literally — silent zero-splice)
- guard: re-raise sentinel gensym'd per execution (was forgeable by any
(list '__guard-reraise__ x) value)
- do: IIFE-head form no longer misparses as a Scheme do-loop
- render: area/base/embed/param/track added to HTML_TAGS (were void-only
and rendered as Undefined symbol)
- REGEN REPAIR: checked-in sx_ref.ml carried hand-written additions that
every regeneration silently lost (let-values/define-values/delay/
delay-force registrations, AdtValue define-type) plus 5 regen blockers
(arrow-name mangling, 3-arg get, &rest defines, HO-position helper refs,
transpiler prim-table gaps). Moved into bootstrap.py FIXUPS/skips and the
transpiler prim table — regen is now reproducible, compiles, and tests
at baseline (CI Dockerfile.test steps 3-4 could not previously have
produced a compiling kernel)
Primitives:
- contains?: dict key-check arm per its spec doc
- expt: promotes to float on int63 overflow ((expt 2 100) returned 0)
- mcp_tree parity with sx_primitives: get (Integer indices + 3-arg default),
split (literal substring, was char-class — the historical gotcha lived
here), empty? on ""/{}, contains?, equal?, keyword-name, char-code
(Integer), parse-number (Integer-aware)
Python/docs:
- shared/sx/boundary.py: dead validation now logs a one-time WARNING instead
of silently no-oping (full revival gated: tier-1 declarations deleted and
SX_BOUNDARY_STRICT=1 is live in production compose)
- CLAUDE.md: canonical reference now points at spec/*.sx; island authoring
rules corrected (let IS sequential, bodies ARE implicit begin)
Verification: full suite 5762 passed / 274 failed — fail set byte-identical
to the pre-change baseline (273 in-progress hs-* + pre-existing r7rs radix
shadow). All repros verified fixed on both the native binary and the rebuilt
WASM browser kernel. Review findings: /tmp/sx-review/*.md

Tools: vm-trace, bytecode-inspect, deps-check, prim-check,
test_boot.sh, sx-build-all.sh — with usage examples.
Island rules: (do ...) for multi-expression bodies, nested let for
cross-references, (deref (computed ...)) for reactive derived text,
effects in inner let for OCaml SSR compatibility.

- Add Debugging & analysis section to tool catalogue (sx_trace, sx_deps,
sx_build_manifest)
- Update harness entry to mention multi-file and setup support
- Update tool count from 35+ to 40+
- Add tool table to CLAUDE.md
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.6 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
- Added sx_harness_eval to the MCP tools table
- Added spec/harness.sx to the specification files list
- Added full test harness design section (sessions, interceptors, IO log,
assertions, extensibility, platform-specific extensions, CID-based
component/test association)

Python-based MCP server (tools/mcp_services.py) for understanding the
microservice topology via static analysis:
- svc_status: Docker container status
- svc_routes: HTTP route table from blueprint scanning
- svc_calls: inter-service dependency graph (fetch_data/call_action/etc)
- svc_config: environment variables from docker-compose
- svc_models: SQLAlchemy models, columns, relationships
- svc_schema: live defquery/defaction manifest from running services
- alembic_status: migration count per service
- svc_logs/svc_start/svc_stop: service lifecycle
- svc_queries/svc_actions: SX query and action definitions

The tool table was listing only the original 11 tools. Now documents all 31
including smart editing, project-wide search, dev workflow, and git integration.
Also updated the protocol to mention pattern-based editing and sx_write_file.

Phase 4: defisland ~sx-tools/tree-editor — interactive tree viewer
embedded in the SX Tools page. Features:
- Textarea with :bind for SX source input
- Parse button to re-parse on demand
- Tree view: annotated tree with path labels, clickable nodes
- Context view: enclosing chain from root to selected node
- Validate view: structural integrity checks (catches missing body etc.)
MCP server fixes: added ident-start?, ident-char?, make-keyword,
escape-string, sx-expr-source — needed by parser.sx when loaded
into the MCP evaluator.
Also: .mcp.json for Claude Code MCP server config, CLAUDE.md protocol
for structural .sx file editing.

Pushing to main triggers a production deploy — make this explicit
in the deployment section so it's never done accidentally.

Points AI and developers to shared/sx/ref/ as the authoritative
source for SX semantics — eval rules, type system, rendering modes,
component calling convention, and platform interface.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.6 <noreply@anthropic.com>
- CLAUDE.md: add SX rendering pipeline overview, service sx/ vs sxc/
convention, dev container mount convention
- docker-compose.dev.yml: add missing ./sx/sx:/app/sx bind mount for
sx_docs (root cause of "Unknown component: ~sx-layout-full")
- async_eval.py: add evaluation modes table to module docstring; log
error when async_eval_slot_to_sx can't find a component instead of
silently falling through to client-side serialization
- helpers.py: remove debug logging from render_to_sx_with_env

Replaces the old art-dag-only docs with comprehensive documentation
covering all web platform services, shared library, art DAG subsystem,
architecture patterns, auth, inter-service communication, and dev/deploy.

Remove cross-DB relationships (CartItem.product, CartItem.market_place,
OrderItem.product) that break with per-service databases. Denormalize
product and marketplace fields onto cart_items/order_items at write time.
- Add AP internal inbox infrastructure (shared/infrastructure/internal_inbox*)
for synchronous inter-service writes via HMAC-authenticated POST
- Cart inbox blueprint handles Add/Remove/Update rose:CartItem activities
- Market app sends AP activities to cart inbox instead of writing CartItem directly
- Cart services use denormalized columns instead of cross-DB hydration/joins
- Add marketplaces-by-ids data endpoint to market service
- Alembic migration adds denormalized columns to cart_items and order_items
- Add OAuth device flow auth to market scraper persist_api (artdag client pattern)

Each service (blog, market, cart, events, federation, account) now owns
its own database schema with independent Alembic migrations. Removes the
monolithic shared/alembic/ that ran all migrations against a single DB.
- Add per-service alembic.ini, env.py, and 0001_initial.py migrations
- Add shared/db/alembic_env.py helper with table-name filtering
- Fix cross-DB FK in blog/models/snippet.py (users lives in db_account)
- Fix cart_impl.py cross-DB queries: fetch products and market_places
via internal data endpoints instead of direct SQL joins
- Fix blog ghost_sync to fetch page_configs from cart via data endpoint
- Add products-by-ids and page-config-ensure data endpoints
- Update all entrypoint.sh to create own DB and run own migrations
- Cart now uses db_cart instead of db_market
- Add docker-compose.dev.yml, dev.sh for local development
- CI deploys both rose-ash swarm stack and rose-ash-dev compose stack
- Fix Quart namespace package crash (root_path in factory.py)
